What began as an emotional plea for help has now spiralled into widespread public concern.
On 1 April 2026, Nkeiruka Okoro Blessing, popularly known as Blessing CEO, appeared on an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze. The session quickly turned into what many have described as a “social media court.”
With medical practitioners also present, she was asked a series of pressing questions following the growing doubts surrounding her earlier claims and public appeal for funds.
Under scrutiny, Blessing CEO made a significant shift from her initial statements. She revealed that she does not yet know the stage of the alleged cancer and, in fact, has not received a confirmed diagnosis, despite discovering a lump.
In a moment that caught many off guard, she also apologised for cutting her hair on social media, admitting it was done to gain public sympathy.
When questioned about sharing her account details without providing clear medical reports or a breakdown of treatment costs, she explained that she was simply being proactive, noting that selling personal assets like her car and house could take time.
The revelations have only deepened public scepticism, raising more questions than answers, making this situation a stark reminder of the thin line between vulnerability and accountability.
