Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, met with Melania Trump and other global counterparts at the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” held at the White House in Washington, DC.

Tinubu was among 45 first ladies, including Brigitte Macron, who attended the summit focused on expanding access to educational tools and protecting children in digital environments.

A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3, presented by Melania Trump—marking the first time such advanced artificial intelligence technology has been formally introduced to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.

Speaking at the summit, Trump emphasised the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, noting that future developments would increasingly take human-like forms.

“The future of AI is personified—it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon, artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility,” she said.

She added that such technological advancements could reshape global power dynamics and stressed the need to prepare younger generations for the emerging digital landscape.

Officials from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, also presented national strategies aimed at integrating technology into their education systems.

Trump called on participating nations to strengthen collaboration and translate the summit’s vision into concrete initiatives that will equip young people with relevant digital skills and expand opportunities in an increasingly AI-driven world.
