Just when it seemed the dust had finally settled on the Tonto Dikeh–Olakunle Churchill reconciliation, the celebrity timeline reminded us, once again, that peace rarely travels alone in Nollywood.

Fresh off the widely applauded decision by Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, to embrace peaceful co-parenting, a new twist emerged. This time, the spotlight shifted to Nollywood actress Angela Okorie, who appeared to take a swipe at Rosy Meurer, Churchill’s present wife.

At first glance, many netizens were confused. Why the sudden hostility, especially on a day meant to celebrate healing and closure? The confusion lingered until receipts surfaced.

Angela Okorie’s comment was spotted under a post by Rosy Meurer, which she had captioned “Queen of all queens”, interestingly, on the same day Tonto and Churchill publicly announced their reconciliation. The timing alone was enough to raise eyebrows.

Soon after, Angela took to her Instagram Stories, laying out a detailed narrative of how the triangle involving the two women and their (ex) husband unfolded from the early days to their current realities. The story, however, was told in coded language, layered with subtle jabs, personal opinions, and enough ambiguity to keep readers decoding between the lines.

While no names were aggressively called, the message was clear enough for those paying attention. And as expected, social media did what it does best picked sides, analysed tone, and turned insinuations into full-blown debates.

In the end, what was meant to be a moment of calm and maturity quickly became another reminder that in celebrity circles, reconciliation for one party can sometimes feel like provocation to another.
