Jack Grealish remains unavailable for Everton’s Premier League clash with Coventry on Friday, manager David Moyes has confirmed.
The on-loan Manchester City midfielder, 31, missed the Toffees’ two games against Newcastle in the Premier League and Carabao Cup over the past week following a “breach of club discipline”.
After Monday’s win at St James’ Park, Moyes said Grealish still has a future at the club but did not know when he would return to the team.
Now, speaking on Thursday before his side host Coventry, Moyes said: “No, Jack is not available.
“I wouldn’t give you the plan but we will be working with Jack again soon.”
Moyes and Everton have remained guarded about the issue, which is understood to have arisen from an unauthorised absence from training.
