Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has criticised some individuals who parade themselves as men of God, accusing them of ridiculing Christianity through their conduct and claims.
In a video shared on Monday, October 19, 2026, the actor questioned the credibility of self proclaimed pastors who allegedly tell their congregations that they have visited heaven.
Kanayo specifically mentioned Apostle Arome Osayi while expressing doubts about such claims.
“Even Jesus had to die to go to heaven, but Apostle Arome is still alive and telling his members that he has been to heaven,” the actor said.
He urged Christians to deepen their spirituality and exercise caution when deciding which religious leaders to follow.
Kanayo also warned Nigerians against blindly accepting the teachings of religious figures, urging them to be mindful of the spiritual guidance they receive.
