“This Is the Man I Want to Be Acting With All the Time” — Linda Ejiofor on Lateef Adedimeji

Nollywood actress Linda Ejiofor Suleiman has praised actor Lateef Adedimeji for his professionalism and dedication to his craft, describing him as an actor she would love to work with repeatedly.

Speaking about her experience working with Adedimeji, Ejiofor said their collaboration marked her first time acting alongside the actor and left a lasting impression on her.

“Oh, yeah, this stuck with me, and I’m so grateful that I’m on this project, every time I acted alongside Lateef Adedimeji. I mean, that was my first time acting with this guy, and he is such an amazing, amazing man and actor. Yeah, he gives it 100%,” she said.

The actress explained that one quality she particularly admires in an actor is the ability to remain fully engaged even when the camera is focused on another performer.

According to her, some actors fail to maintain the energy of a scene when they are not the ones being filmed, but she said Adedimeji approaches every scene with the same level of commitment.

“There are some actors which I do not like when they do it. When some actors do this thing where the camera is not on them and it’s on you, and they don’t feed you the energy, they’ll just be talking,” she said.

Ejiofor said Adedimeji, however, gives his full energy regardless of whether the camera is on him.

“Lateef comes 100% every single time, even when the camera is not on him. And I look, I’m like, ‘God, this is the man I want to be acting with all the time,’” she added.

She, however, made it clear that her husband, actor Ibrahim Suleiman, is also a professional, joking that her admiration for Adedimeji’s work should not be interpreted otherwise.

“Apart from my husband, though. Yeah, we talk about all those things. So my husband is also very professional. Lateef is so professional,” she said.
