Former Lagos State lawmaker and actor Desmond Elliot has reportedly gone on his knees to plead with President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, for forgiveness following his actions during the last APC primary.
Elliot reportedly admitted that he was misguided during the primary and appealed to Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and a return to the APC family in Lagos.
He also accepted the verdict of the people of Surulere and pledged to renew his loyalty to the Governance Advisory Council, GAC, leadership of the Lagos APC.
The reported reconciliation comes after the political disagreements that surrounded the party’s last primary, with Elliot now seeking to mend fences and reaffirm his commitment to the party’s leadership.
