Rich, Disciplined, Good Looking and Obsessed — Stella Damasus Reveals Her Standards for Daughter’s Man

Veteran Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has revealed the qualities she considers non negotiable in a man who wants to date or marry her daughter.

Speaking during a recent interview, Damasus said the man must respect her daughter deeply, be financially stable, disciplined and physically attractive.

She said genuine respect should be at the foundation of the relationship, while also insisting that the man should be deeply invested in her daughter.

“One, he has to fully respect you. Forgive me but I will say it, he has to be obsessed with you, very much obsessed with you,” she said.

The actress also stressed the importance of financial stability, saying the man should have enough resources to take care of himself and her daughter.

“Secondly, he has to have more than enough to care of not just himself but of you too,” she stated.

Damasus identified self discipline as another crucial quality, arguing that love for God alone is not enough without discipline in a man’s thoughts, body and overall conduct.

“Thirdly, he has to be disciplined, very disciplined. It is easy to say you want a man who loves God, who fears God, but if he has all of that without self discipline of mind, body, everything, everything will scatter,” she explained.

The veteran actress also admitted that physical appearance matters to her, adding, “There is many more because he has to be good looking as well.”
