Businesswoman and brand influencer May Yul Edochie has approached a Lagos State High Court, seeking orders to compel the removal of several social media accounts allegedly used to cyberbully, harass and defame her.

In the suit, May is asking the court to direct the removal of the accounts and restrain Yinka Omolola Theisen, Emeka Ugwuonye and the unidentified operators of various social media accounts from making any further allegedly defamatory publications about her on Facebook, Instagram, X and other online platforms.

According to court documents, the claimant argues that the alleged online attacks have subjected her to harassment, reputational damage and emotional distress.

The suit, marked LD/10737GCM/2026, was filed before the Lagos State High Court through her legal representatives, Jessica Egbafor and Esther Fijo of Greylaw Partners.

As of the time of filing this report, the defendants had not publicly responded to the claims, and the court is yet to determine the merits of the case.
