Award winning Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about life as a father of triplets, describing the experience as one that exceeded every expectation he had while waiting to become a parent.

Speaking during an appearance on Morayo Afolabi Brown’s show, the actor recalled the emotional moment he discovered that his wife was expecting not one, but three babies.

“You know when you’ve been expecting something and then it came and it’s beyond your expectation? That means the waiting was not a bad one.”

Lateef revealed that he was present throughout the delivery, adding that witnessing the birth of his sons gave him an even deeper appreciation for the strength and resilience of women.

“It wasn’t easy. I give it to women.”

Despite having nannies to help care for the babies, the actor said he remains actively involved in raising his sons, often taking them one at a time to sleep on his chest.

“They have their nannies, but I take them one by one to my room, and they sleep on my chest. When I am at work, I am always on camera watching them.”

When asked whether he and his wife were considering expanding their family, Lateef said they are currently focused on raising their three boys but admitted that having a daughter is something his wife would likely love.

“Let’s still be patient with these ones. Anyways, everything is in the hands of God. Because they are boys, I know she would love to have a female, so maybe we can do one more.”

His heartfelt reflections have warmed the hearts of fans, with many praising the actor for embracing fatherhood wholeheartedly and celebrating the joy his growing family has brought into his life.
