Abia Warriors have resumed training ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, which begins next month.
The Umuchineke Boys finished 7th on the 20-team league log last season, and are determined to improve on that performance in the coming season.
Obuh, in his address to the players, challenged the squad to raise the bar and play with intent as the team officially commenced preparations for the new season at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
He charged them to embrace discipline, hard work, and unity, noting that expectations are high, insisting that this campaign must be built on consistency and teamwork.
The former Nigeria U17 and U20 Head Coach also called for maximum commitment from day one, stressing that pre-season is where the foundation for success is built.
