Stella Marris, the widow of late Nollywood actor Mr Ibu, has opened up about the difficult living conditions she and her children are currently facing months after the actor’s death.

Speaking in an emotional conversation with social media influencer King Mitchy, Stella revealed that the family has been battling severe financial hardship, leaving them unable to pay rent, keep the lights on, or send the children to school.

“We fetch water from the well to use because I have not paid the house rent, and they have even cut the light for two months now. Every night we would go out to look for where to charge our phones; it has not been easy,” she said.

According to her, the situation has become so difficult that the children have been forced out of school due to unpaid fees.

“Right now, they can’t even go to school. The school still sent a message,” she added.

Mr Ibu’s daughter also spoke during the interview, expressing gratitude to her mother for doing her best to provide for the family despite the challenges. She appealed to her late father’s colleagues in the movie industry to come to their aid.

“I want to thank God for my mum, she tries everything she can to feed us and pay our school fees. If you’re in the industry with my dad and you see us now, please come and help us,” she said.
