Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, has hinted that Ademola Lookman could be back in La Liga action at home Saturday against Athletic Bilbao after he was dropped for yesterday’s game at Elche.
Ademola Lookman complained of pains around his abductor during the Copa del Rey final last weekend.
He has been training on his own as a result and was not named on the matchday squad for the trip to Elche.
However, coach Simeone is positive he could return for the home game versus Athletic Bilbao.
“It’s possible that both Sorloth and Lookman will already be available on Saturday, based on what the doctors are saying,” he disclosed
Atleti have taken necessary precaution to ensure the Super Eagles forward is available for the UEFA Champions League semifinal first leg at home against Arsenal next Wednesday.
