Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly questioned the cancer diagnosis recently shared by Nkeiruka Okoro Blessing, also known as Blessing CEO.

In a ten-minute video that has since gained traction online since yesterday, 26th, March 2026, he raised concerns about the authenticity of her stage four breast cancer claim. Referencing her past controversies, including her widely discussed association with Onye Eze, he suggested that her history of chasing attention makes the situation difficult for some to take at face value.

According to him, there has been no visible medical report, no documented treatment process, and no public evidence of a journey that would typically move from early stages to stage four. For him, the absence of such details raises questions.

He did not hold back in stressing that cancer is a deeply sensitive issue, one that has claimed many lives and should never be used as a tool for attention or financial gain.

In response, Blessing CEO maintained her stance, stating that her medical records would only be shared with individuals she considers reputable and trustworthy.

It appears VeryDarkMan has some time on his hands, as he has volunteered to meet Blessing in Lagos to “confirm” her claims suggesting he would personally check for the lump she mentioned by physical touch.

The situation has since left the public divided. On one hand, there is the call for empathy in the face of a serious illness. On the other, there is the growing demand for transparency, especially when public donations are involved.
