Not every apology arrives in the bright light of day. Some appear quietly in the deep hours of the night, perhaps so the person apologising can get a little sleep before the reactions begin to pour in.
Such was the case with social media personality Mitchelle Mukoro, popularly known as King Mitchy.
After a week filled with online drama involving Martins Otse, the revered Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and even the name of Seyi Tinubu, the influencer resurfaced in the early hours of today with a video message.
In the video, she offered what she described as an unreserved apology and accepted responsibility for her actions during the heated online exchanges, especially her public display of taking in harmful substances.
She specifically apologised to the Ooni of Ife for what she admitted was a disrespectful remark made during one of her responses to Verydarkman. An apology was also directed at Verydarkman himself for initiating the confrontation without clear provocation. Seyi Tinubu was not left out, as she expressed regret for bringing his name into a social media feud that quickly grew beyond control.
