Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has once again found herself in the middle of a heated online debate following her comments about Brazilian Butt Lift surgeries.

The conversation began after the death of social media influencer Elena Jessica, who reportedly passed away on Monday, 9 March 2026, after complications from a corrective BBL procedure. Since then, Ogbodo, who has been vocal about cosmetic surgery awareness, has faced a wave of criticism from social media users.

By 12 March 2026, the actress appeared to have reached her limit. Taking to her Instagram page, she questioned why married men seemed particularly invested in her comment section, challenging her advocacy for mummy makeovers through surgical procedures.

The mother of three, who has openly spoken about undergoing BBL to regain her post-pregnancy body, argued that many of the men criticising her position were simply those who could not afford such procedures. According to her, wealthy men often support their wives in getting cosmetic surgeries to achieve the body they desire.

She ended her outburst with a blunt message. The angry husbands, she suggested, should redirect their frustration to conversations with their wives at home, while she remains firm in her views about cosmetic enhancement.
