The National Assembly has postponed its plenary session, initially scheduled to resume yesterday.
The new resumption date is Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
According to a notice signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, Esq., the postponement allowed committees to complete ongoing budget defence sessions.
The leadership apologised for any inconvenience caused and requested members to take note of the revised schedule.
The postponement of the plenary for budget defence sessions underscores the importance of thorough budget scrutiny, as lawmakers prepared for crucial discussions on national priorities and resource allocation.
