Vivian, speaking candidly with touches of humour, revealed that her family had no idea she was dating a little person until Nkubi showed up in person. Despite their initial shock and reservations, she stood firmly by the man she loved, choosing commitment over criticism.
Now family content creators, the couple also addressed public reactions to their daughter, who inherited her father’s nature. Vivian shared that even during pregnancy, a doctor had insensitively questioned why she did not consider alternative ways of getting pregnant after scans suggested their child would be a little person.
Despite the challenges, the couple remain hopeful. They acknowledged that little persons still face inequality in Nigeria but believe the narrative is gradually changing. They encouraged parents of children with dwarfism to invest confidently in their futures.
Vivian expressed a bold dream for her daughter to become one of the few little person fashion models in the industry.
Through struggle, resilience and love, Nkubi and Vivian continue to rewrite perceptions, one story at a time.
