What was meant to be a routine podcast conversation quietly morphed into something far more revealing, a confessional of sorts, as Innocent “Tuface” Idibia found himself fielding tough, deeply personal questions from Channels Television presenter, Seun Okinbaloye.

With discussions spanning family, music and long-standing controversies, the music icon appeared determined to finally clear the air. Addressing the ever-sensitive topic of Plantashun Boiz, Tuface spoke with measured honesty. “Faze and I are good,” he said calmly, before drawing a clear line elsewhere. “I don’t see myself being close to Blackface anymore.” While acknowledging their shared history, including the creation of the timeless African Queen, he admitted that certain words should never have been spoken. Still, according to him, the matter has since been settled out of court, and peace, at least on paper, has been restored.

When the conversation edged towards his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay, Tuface visibly sidestepped the subject. Yet, in a moment of rare vulnerability, he made a candid admission that cut deeper than any headline: he has not been the best father to his children. By his own account, life and a new marriage has pulled him away from moments he can never quite reclaim.

The interview did not end without addressing speculation surrounding his current wife, Natasha. Tuface firmly dismissed claims that she has ever been a hindrance to his Music career. As for his widely circulated outburst during Daddy Freeze’s Instagram live session, the now 50-year-old singer offered a simple explanation, he was already in a bad mood long before the cameras rolled.

Dear Tuface, we wish you more strength battles that play out offstage.
