Presco Plc Names Adewale Arikawe Group CEO of SIAT

Presco Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Adewale Arikawe as Group Chief Executive Officer of SIAT, marking a significant leadership transition within the group.
The appointment was disclosed in a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Mr. Frederick Ichekwai, and dated January 12, 2026. Mr. Arikawe’s appointment took effect from January 2, 2026.
In his new role, Mr. Arikawe is responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight for all SIAT subsidiaries, including Presco Plc, SIAT Nigeria Limited, and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited. He will lead SIAT’s operations across West Africa, working with existing management teams to strengthen execution, accelerate growth initiatives, and promote a high-performance organisational culture.
According to the company, the appointment reflects SIAT’s focus on leadership continuity and execution excellence. The statement noted that Mr. Arikawe is committed to empowering teams, enhancing leadership capability, and creating an enabling environment that supports continuous improvement and sustainable performance.
As part of the leadership changes, Mr. Arikawe has also been appointed a Non-Executive Director of Presco Plc, filling a casual vacancy on the Board until the next Annual General Meeting. He succeeds Mr. Felix Nwabuko, who is retiring after several years of service to SIAT NV and its subsidiaries.
The Board expressed appreciation for Mr. Nwabuko’s contributions, citing his role in driving growth and long-term success across the group.
Mr. Arikawe brings over 26 years of leadership experience across general management, commercial strategy, sales, customer development, and brand management. His professional background includes senior leadership roles at Royal FrieslandCampina, where he oversaw operations across Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as leadership positions at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria. He has also held senior roles at Nestlé Nigeria Plc, contributing to multi-channel sales management and strategic growth initiatives.
He holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Chichester and has completed executive education programmes at London Business School and IMD Lausanne, Switzerland, with a focus on leadership, execution excellence, and business impact.
Welcoming the appointment, the Presco Plc Board expressed confidence in Mr. Arikawe’s ability to deliver value across the SIAT Group. The Board also reiterated its appreciation to Mr. Nwabuko for his dedication and lasting legacy.
The leadership announcement comes shortly after Presco Plc successfully concluded its Rights Issue, which achieved a 103 percent subscription level. The offer recorded demand in excess of the offer size, reflecting strong shareholder participation and sustained investor confidence in the company’s strategic direction and long-term growth prospects.
