In what appears to be her own version of a New Year reset, Regina Daniels has finally decided to clear the smoke surrounding her name and this time, she came armed with receipts, timelines, and a warning.

The Nollywood actress and estranged wife of Senator Ned Nwoko revealed that the past three months have been some of the heaviest of her life, following a separation that played out messily in the public eye. For someone whose life has often felt like a public series with no commercial breaks, Regina admitted she had been carrying the weight quietly until now.

In an almost six-minute video that felt part confession, part clarification, and part pre-emptive legal notice, Regina addressed lingering allegations of drug abuse and threats to her custody as a mother. She acknowledged previously mentioning drug use but firmly stated that she was never addicted. According to her, the only substance she ever used was Molly and even that, she said, had a reason.

The plot twist? Regina revealed she has since been medically cleared by a UK hospital and declared drug-free, a development she says restores not just her health, but her dignity. With that clearance, she insists she is fully capable of giving her children the life they deserve and, perhaps more importantly, reclaiming her narrative from the internet jury.

As if closing a chapter with a bold underline, Regina ended her message with a subtle warning: those who helped push what she describes as damaging and false narratives should enjoy the calm while it lasts legal action may soon follow.

For now, the actress seems determined to move forward lighter, louder, and legally prepared. Whether this truly marks a fresh start or merely the calm before another celebrity storm remains to be seen. In Nollywood, after all, silence is never the final scene.
