The President’s son has been making more headlines than a Nollywood blockbuster these days, and for all sorts of reasons. Just when Nigerians were still recovering from Wole Soyinka’s sudden “new discovery” about him, another drama unfolded on social media, and this time, it came from none other than the ever-vocal and unapologetically dramatic influencer, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami.
In a video that had the Internet adjusting its glasses and leaning forward, Lege poured his heart out about his one-sided friendship with Seyi Tinubu. And in classic Lege fashion, he didn’t hold back.
According to him, “I have never enjoyed Seyi Tinubu. I can call him a hundred times and he won’t pick my call. I have spent a lot of money because I am Seyi’s friend.”
Now, pause. Imagine calling your friend a hundred times, not one, not ten, a hundred times. At this point, even your phone network would start praying for you, but Lege, with the confidence of a man who has seen many election seasons, decided that Nigerians needed to hear his pain.
His confession felt like watching a romantic tragedy; the lovers are mismatched, the communication is broken, and one party is doing all the spending, all the calling, and all the emotional heavy lifting. Except this time, the romance involves political royalty and a man who never misses a chance to entertain.
As reactions continue to pour in, one thing is certain: in the theatre of Nigerian social media, no one delivers unscripted drama quite like Lege Miami. And Seyi Tinubu? Well… silence, apparently, remains his superpower.
