NASFAT Tasks New Executive On Dedicated Service

The Nasrul-Lahi-il-Fatih Society (NASFAT), on Sunday, urged its new executive to be dedicated and promote services that will foster peace and development in the society.
The Lagos zonal missioner of NASFAT, Imam Uthman Jaji-Muhammad, said this at the inauguration of new executive members of Lagos zone 1, held at its praying ground at the National Stadium in Surulere Lagos.
NASFAT is a humanitarian and social arm of the Muslim faith with focus on women, youths and children development.
The newly inaugurated official members who will serve the sect for the next two years include;
Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Kadri Adewole, Vice Chairman Alhaji Adeniyi Adelere, zonal Missioner Uthman Jaji-muhammad, and zonal Secretary Alhaji Yusuf Muritala.
Others are: the Financial Secretary Alhaji Muftaudeen Olaide, Internal Audit Secretary Hajia Ibisanmi-Lawal, and Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Nusrah Adeleke,
The others are: Economic Empowerment Secretary, Alhaja Aminat Giwa, Education Secretary, Alhaja Islamiya Badru, Health Service Secretary, Alhaja Bilikisua Anifowoshe, among other officials.
Jaji-Muhammad urged the incoming leadership to work beyond enviable standards set by the past leadership, and promote religious co-existence, as well as services such as health care and education to the people.
“Education and health are other aspects of the organisation that the outgone leaders did very well; we expect that the new leadership will improve on the promotion of health and education for the people,” he said
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman (Adewole) promised to work towards improving the organisation’s revenue, in order to effectively discharge responsibilities of the new executive.
Among others, he pledged his commitment to upholding the ideals of the organisation, by impacting society.
“We are going to improve on the foundation laid by the organisation with improved education of members, and scholarships to the less privileged.
“Women’s health is a priority to this executive; efforts will be geared towards health outreach to better the lives of people,” he said
The organisation also recognised the former executive with awards for their contributions to society.
