President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Olanipekun Olukoyede, on his birthday, applauding his bold anti-corruption efforts.
This is contained in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, yesterday in Abuja.
Tinubu praised Olukoyede’s professionalism and courage in leading the EFCC’s mission to eliminate financial and economic crimes across Nigeria.
He lauded the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to transparency, institutional reforms, and a reinvigorated anti-graft framework.
The President also applauded the establishment of a special task force targeting currency offences, including naira abuse and economic dollarisation.
He hailed Olukoyede’s strategic approach in combating cybercrime and economic sabotage through innovative enforcement mechanisms.
Tinubu prayed for God’s guidance over Olukoyede, praising his resolve to free Nigeria from the deep-rooted economic challenges that has tied the nation down for ages.
