As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, it’s imperative to reflect on our nation’s trajectory since independence. Despite being endowed with vast resources, we continue to grapple with numerous socio-economic challenges, including poor infrastructure, poverty, hunger, unemployment, and inadequate social amenities.

THE NEED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL INTERVENTION.

For over two decades, I’ve advocated for entrepreneurial intervention as a solution to Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges.

The lack of capacity and willpower among our political elites has hindered our progress. However, practical examples like Aliko Dangote’s intervention in the oil and gas sector demonstrate the potential for entrepreneurial solutions to drive positive change.

THE POTENTIAL OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INTERVENTION.

Entrepreneurial intervention can address nearly 85% of Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges. By leveraging the expertise and resources of entrepreneurs, we can:

– Improve infrastructure development
– Create jobs and stimulate economic growth
– Enhance social amenities and services
– Promote sustainable environmental practices
– Foster innovation and competitiveness

A CALL TO ACTION.

I urge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the 36 State Governors, and 774 Council Chairmen to embrace entrepreneurial intervention. By working together with entrepreneurs, we can:

– Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
– Mobilize resources and expertise to drive development
– Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation
– Create opportunities for economic growth and job creation

TOWARDS A BRIGHTER FUTURE.

As we mark this milestone, I wish Nigeria greatness and prosperity. With entrepreneurial intervention, we can unlock our full potential, provide a better life for our citizens, and become a shining example of what can be achieved through determination and hard work.

THE FORMULA FOR SUSTAINABLE GOOD GOVERNANCE.

All Nigeria socio-economic challenges ÷ by entrepreneurial interventions = Sustainable Good Governance. By adopting this approach, we can:

– Ensure effective and efficient use of resources
– Promote transparency and accountability
– Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship
– Create opportunities for economic growth and development

CONCLUSION
Entrepreneurial intervention is a critical component of Nigeria’s development strategy. By embracing this approach, we can overcome our socio-economic challenges and build a brighter future for our nation. I believe that with determination, hard work, and visionary leadership, Nigeria can achieve greatness and become a model for other nations to follow.
