Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George has expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s performance in the victory over Shooting Stars.
The Pride of Rivers defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
Finidi said his players failed to take control of the game despite the victory.
“I am not quite happy, I have to be honest, We are too much in a hurry, too many mistakes. I didn’t see my team in one moment that I could say we are in total control.” Finidi said in a post-match interview.
Finidi assured that his team will improve on their performance in subsequent games.
Rivers United are unbeaten in the NPFL this season with eight points from four matches.
