Nigeria’s Ezekiel Nathaniel delivered a commanding performance yesterday, winning his quarter-final heat in the men’s 400m hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Nathaniel clocked 48.37 seconds to book his place in the semifinals, displaying remarkable speed and fluid hurdling technique that drew applause from spectators.
American Caleb Dean finished second in 48.67 seconds, while Brazil’s Francisco Dos Reis Viana ran a personal best of 48.69 seconds for third place.
