“The feat has further underlined Nigeria’s dominance of African women football, which every Nigerian is proud of”.
Maigari also commended President Bola Tinubu for confering the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on the players and officials, donation of $100,000 naira equivalent to each of the 24 players, and the gift of a three-bedroom flat to each of the 24 players.
