The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Alphonsus Ogar Eba has vowed to expel any member of the party that comes out to challenge Governor Bassey Otu during the APC primaries ahead of the 2027 election.
Eba made the remarks in a goodwill message at the Cross River South Consultative Forum/ Grand Reception and Thank You Rally in honour of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu for second Term in office at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
In his remarks Governor Bassey otu who said he was humbled and surprised over the endorsement saying at no time did he approach any body for the endorsement.
The Governor promised to deliver 96 percent votes from Cross River State to President Bola Tinubu during the 2027 general election.
“Today we have laid a solid Economic Foundation for our State and I will do more in the next two years “
The Governor who commended President Bola Tinubu for his structural reforms and bold initiative stressing that very soon it will start bearing fruites.
He stated that his administration has created an enabling environment making Cross River State an Investment hub for business.
Earlier, Chairman of Cross River State Consultative Forum, Barrister Eyo Nsa Ekpo commended President Bola Tinubu for constructing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from both ends, and Governor Bassey Otu for his transformative leadership in the State.
