Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid al-Adha today, Friday, June 6, 2025.
In a goodwill message, Senator Kalu congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Hajj pilgrimage and the celebration of Eid, emphasising the importance of love, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence.
“Eid al-Adha is a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, and compassion. I salute our Muslim brothers and sisters for their commitment to faith and their contributions to nation-building,” Kalu said.
He urged Nigerians of all religious backgrounds to continue promoting unity, tolerance, and peaceful dialogue, adding that the nation’s strength lies in its diversity.
“As we celebrate, let us remember to show kindness to the less privileged and support efforts that foster peace in our communities. Nigeria will be stronger when we all work together in harmony,” he added.
Senator Kalu prayed for continued blessings, good health, and prosperity for all Muslim families during and after the festive period.
