Nasarawa State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed Dr. Kasim Muhammad Kasim as Chairman Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) and other three members of the board.
Similarly, the House screened and confirmed Mustapha Abdullahi Aliyu as Chairman, Nasarawa State Local Government Service Commission and two members.
The Speaker of the House, Hon.Danladi Jatau, who announced this during the House proceeding in Lafia yesterday.
The Speaker who tasked them to live above board by being transparent, accountable and bring their experiences to bear added that their confirmation followed good testimonies given by their representative.
He thereby directed the clerk of the house to communicate the Governor on resolution of the house.
Similarly, during the House proceedings “A Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of Nasarawa State College of Leadership and Social Development in Toto and for Other Matters Connected Thereto” was passed into first reading by the House.
The Bill is sponsored by the member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon. Muhammad Garba Isimbabi.
The Leader of the House, Dr. Danladi Jatau slated 5th May 2025 for the second reading of the bill.
