The Brave Warriors of Zimbabwe are in Uyo for the world cup qualifier against Super Eagles with the mindset to fight and shock Nigeria.
This was disclosed by an official of the Zimbabwean national team in an exclusive chat with www.totorinews.com, who insisted that the Super Eagles are in for a shocker on Tuesday because the players are fully motivated for this game.
“If you people (Nigeria) think that we are the wiping boys in the group, we will shock your team on Tuesday. We will not enter the field feeling defeated. No.
“Our players are going to fight like warriors with the mindset to win.
But when reminded that Super Eagles are in good shape judging by their performance beating Rwanda in Kigali 2-0, he replied that Zimbabwe are equally in high spirit based on they came back from two goals down against Benin Republic to end the game 2-2.
“We have shown that we are not ready to give up. Rwanda came to Uyo and went home victorious. This could also happen to Zimbabwe. We are ready to face Super Eagles with that mentality.
“Zimbabwe will fight as we did in our game. We admit that Super Eagles have very good players, but the team can be vulnerable and we will capitalise on that,” he said.
