A traditional ruler in Delta State, Oritsuwa of Warri Kingdom, Godday Erewa, has poured cold water on allegations linking the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, to pipeline vandalism and illegal oil bunkering.
A recent report alleged that a company chaired by the Delta State monarch was involved in such illegal activities.
But in a statement issued on Wednesday, Erewa described the allegations as baseless and unfounded, insisting that the traditional ruler had never engaged in any illegal venture.
Erewa made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 and made available to newsmen.
