Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has had no less than 63 players who are based overseas on his watch list for the Nigeria U23s, the Olympics team.
Eric Chelle will double up as head coach of the U23s, who will face DR Congo next month in an U23 AFCON qualifier leading up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Nigeria will be guests of the Congolese on November 9 with the return leg at home on November 17.
According to SCORENigeria the coach is tracking the players, ahead of the qualifiers.
The watch list has four goalkeepers, 20 defenders, 16 midfielders and 23 forwards.
Several of the scouted players have already been capped by the Super Eagles.
They include goalkeeper Samuel James, Isaac James, Abdullahi Bewene, Vince Osuji, Christian Akpan, Wilfred Igor, Peter Edokpolor, Abubakar Abdullahi and Abdullahi Umar.
Like the Super Eagles, the U23s will be dominated by foreign pros.
