“Ladies and Gentlemen, This Was Our OG Before Becoming the IG” — Burna Boy Visits IGP Tunji Disu

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has paid a rare visit to Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu in Lagos, in what appears to be an effort to promote better relations between Nigerian youths and the police.

The visit was captured in a video shared by Nigeria Police Force TV, showing the singer meeting with the Inspector General and discussing the role of Nigeria’s creative industry in rebuilding public trust between young Nigerians and law enforcement.

Introducing Disu, Burna Boy said, “Ladies and gentlemen, this was our OG before becoming the IG,” suggesting that the two had a relationship before Disu assumed his current position.

The meeting focused on how Nigeria’s creative power can be used to encourage dialogue, strengthen understanding and help rebuild trust between young Nigerians and the Nigeria Police Force.
