The sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, remains ongoing in the United Kingdom, Punch has reported.
According to the newspaper, Poco Lee’s Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH) remains scheduled for September 15, 2026, at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Punch reported that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed the development in response to an inquiry, stating that the case was still active and that Odinaka remained scheduled to appear for the hearing.
However, the CPS did not clarify whether Poco Lee has been released from custody or remains on remand, following reports circulating online about his alleged release.
The newspaper also reported that an inquiry had been sent to Snaresbrook Crown Court to establish his current custody or bail status, but a response had yet to be received at the time of publication.
The development comes amid continued public interest in the case, with questions surrounding Poco Lee’s current legal status following conflicting reports about his release.
It is important to note that being charged with an offence does not mean a defendant has been found guilty. The case remains before the court.
