American rapper A$AP Rocky has firmly dismissed online conversations comparing his net worth to that of his partner, global music and business icon Rihanna, insisting that her success has never made him feel insecure.
The rapper addressed the recurring comparisons during a candid interview with Jason Lee on BET Networks, where he spoke openly about their relationship and the financial gap between them.
According to A$AP Rocky, there is no competition between them, stressing that he takes pride in both his own achievements and Rihanna’s extraordinary success.
“My woman has billions, and I have multi millions. Her success is never my demise. Her success is not mine at all. I’ve done what I’ve done for myself, and I’m proud of what I did for myself,” he said.
The rapper added that no amount of public criticism or comparison could make him feel less accomplished because of Rihanna’s wealth.
“There’s nothing anyone can say to make me feel insecure or less proud about my woman being successful, or when they talk about who has more or less money. I am very proud of her,” he stated.
Rocky and Rihanna have become one of the entertainment industry’s most admired couples, with both stars enjoying successful careers in music while building a family together.
