Comedian DeeOne has launched a fierce attack on Davido over his absence from Soso Soberekon’s wedding, questioning why the singer could not attend, send a representative, or even publicly congratulate his former associate.
DeeOne argued that Soso played a major role in Davido’s career, claiming he helped connect the singer to some of his earliest major opportunities and was among the first people to give him substantial financial support.
He also pointed out that several industry figures associated with Soso, including KCee and E-Money, attended the wedding, while Davido was noticeably absent.
The comedian went further, comparing Soso’s celebration with Davido’s own wedding, claiming that the former was more lavish and attracted significant attention despite taking place outside Lagos.
DeeOne ended with a provocative question directed at Davido: “Name one thing you have bought for Soso.”
