Bayelsa United have appointed Abdu Maikaba as their new head coach.
The veteran tactician will combine the role with his duties as head coach of the Flying Eagles.
The Prosperity Boys were relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.
Maikaba has been tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the club’s immediate return to the top-flight.
The experienced tactician has managed a lot of top quality teams in the NPFL including Akwa United, Rangers, Kano Pillars, and Wikki Tourists.
He was in charge of Wikki Tourists last season.
