Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has responded fiercely to a social media troll who mocked her for allegedly being single after she shared photos from a first class flight.

Reacting via her Instagram Story, the actress dismissed claims that her decision to stop posting her partner online automatically means she is no longer in a relationship.

“Because I stopped posting my man on Instagram, I am automatically single? Well, I like it like that. Whatever makes you sleep at night, dear. I am enjoying my life outside this app.”

Nkechi suggested that she deliberately keeps her relationship away from social media to avoid unwanted attention, recalling how some women allegedly reached out to one of her former partners after she posted him online.

“My hand is scratching me to post one of your favourites who entered my ex’s DM, but it’s not worth it. Let me enjoy this single life in peace.”

The actress went on to say she would rather remain single than stay in an unhappy relationship or settle for less.

“You are shaming me for being single? Darling, I’d rather be single than be broke, miserable and settle for less. Right now, I am crying in a first class cabin to a destination you can only dream of.”

She also used the opportunity to address men who depend entirely on their partners financially, urging them to become more responsible and contribute meaningfully to their relationships.

“If you are a man and a woman is feeding you as I type, do all you can to be useful. Go find work, learn a skill so you can contribute to that marriage or relationship. Do you know how proud it is when your woman brags to her friends that you are a provider? Don’t insult me, go find work.”
