Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy was treated to a lighthearted moment by his mother, Bose Ogulu, during the celebration of his 35th birthday with family and close friends.
In a video shared by fan page burnaboyworld, loved ones gathered around the singer as they sang the traditional birthday song before asking him to make a wish and blow out his candles.
Before he made his wish, his mother playfully interrupted, saying:
“Please, don’t wish for more cars; we have all the cars.”
Smiling, Burna Boy responded by wishing for what he described as more meaningful blessings.
“I wish for good health, prosperity, and the forever togetherness of all of us all,” he said.
Not done teasing her son, Bose Ogulu quickly added another wish of her own.
