Nigerian comedian and content creator DeeOne, popularly known as Aderombi Adewale, has sparked conversation online after calling on women and influencers with direct access to politicians to use their connections to advocate for ordinary Nigerians struggling with economic hardship.

In a video making the rounds on social media, DeeOne appealed to women who maintain close relationships with political office holders to take advantage of their access and speak honestly about the realities facing citizens across the country.

According to him, many Nigerians are battling rising living costs, economic uncertainty, and financial pressure, and those who have direct access to decision makers should not remain silent.

The comedian argued that such individuals are uniquely positioned to relay the concerns of everyday citizens to those in government, especially in private settings where difficult truths can be communicated directly.

His comments quickly generated reactions online, with some social media users agreeing that influential figures should use their platforms and relationships to advocate for the public good.

Others, however, questioned whether such an approach would have any meaningful impact on government policies, while some criticized the idea of placing responsibility on private individuals rather than elected officials.
