The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) is pleased to announce that Nigeria will host the African Nations Cup Beach Volleyball Zone 3 Qualifiers for Men and Women from July 3 to July 7, 2026, in Badagry, Lagos State.
The championship, sanctioned by the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), will bring together elite beach volleyball athletes from across West Africa in a competition that promises excitement, excellence, and regional unity.
Countries expected to participate in the tournament include Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin Republic, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Niger Republic, and Liberia.
Hosting the tournament further demonstrates Nigeria’s growing reputation as a destination for major volleyball events and reflects the Nigeria Volleyball Federation’s commitment to the development and promotion of beach volleyball within the country and across the African continent.
Badagry, with its scenic coastline and rich cultural heritage, provides a fitting venue for the championship and is expected to offer athletes, officials, and spectators an unforgettable experience.
The tournament will serve as a platform for participating nations to showcase their talents while competing for continental qualification opportunities.
