Atletico Madrid have received a massive boost leading up to Wednesday’s home leg of the UEFA Champions semifinal against Arsenal after Ademola Lookman returned to full team training yesterday.
Lookman has missed his team’s last two La Liga games no thanks to an abductor complaint from the recent Copa del Rey final against Real Sociedad.
The player said he felt some pains around his abductor and so was replaced during the cup final.
Atleti have since made him train apart from the rest of the squad as a precaution.
He is now expected to play a part against his hometown club Arsenal Wednesday night.
‘Mola’ has scored seven goals and made four assists since his arrival from Italian club Atalanta in January.
