After a week of media rounds, legal exchanges and public scrutiny involving his ex wife Mayowa Lambe, Roby Ekpo has once again broken his silence, but this time, with gratitude.
In a post shared on 26 April 2026, the MC and broadcaster thanked everyone who has stood by him through what has been a deeply emotional season, but it was more than appreciation. It was also an apology.
Roby addressed those who may have been uncomfortable with his emotional vulnerability, apologising to anyone offended by his tears. According to him, crying was simply the only honest way he knew to release pain he had carried for a long time.
Looking ahead, Roby also made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians to keep recommending him for MC jobs, reminding people that hosting remains his passion and craft.
He also added that going forward, much of what he shares publicly will center on his work and personal healing, as he chooses to be gentler with himself.
After days of drama, this felt less like a response, and more like a reset.
