Those who grew up in the 90s will remember the bold voice of veteran Nigerian music star, Eedris Abdulkareem, and his long history of speaking truth to power — a stance he still maintains today.
Yesterday, a video of the “Jaga Jaga” crooner surfaced online, showing him in Edo State alongside Governor Monday Okpebholo during an inspection of ongoing projects.
In the clip, Eedris openly commended the governor, noting that significant work is being carried out across various parts of the state he personally visited. According to him, the impact of these developments will become more evident within the next one to two years.
He also revealed that he recently visited Abia State, where he praised Governor Alex Otti for what he described as tremendous progress.
Rounding off his remarks, Eedris encouraged Edo indigenes in the diaspora to return home and witness firsthand the level of development already taking shape.
