Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah launched fresh rocket attacks on Israel yesterday, as the country marked the Passover holiday.
Air raid sirens sounded repeatedly across northern Israel in the morning hours.
According to the Magen David Adom emergency service, two men were lightly injured by rocket fire attributed to Hezbollah.
Israeli media also reported that an Iranian rocket targeting northern areas was equipped with cluster munitions a controversial weapon type.
It is widely restricted under international conventions due to the risk posed to civilians from unexploded ordnance.
Overnight, additional rocket fire targeted multiple locations, including the coastal city of Tel Aviv.
Emergency responders said several people suffered minor injuries from shattered glass in a suburb of the city, among them two infants.
The attacks coincided with the start of Passover, a week-long festival that began Wednesday evening and commemorates the biblical exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and their liberation from slavery.
The renewed strikes mark a further escalation in regional tensions, with Israel facing simultaneous threats from Iranian forces and allied groups operating across the Middle East.
