Social media has once again become a battleground of accountability and silence, as popular content creator Joshua Boluwatife, also known as JJ Exclusive, has sparked conversations online after releasing a four-minute video addressing the recent killings in Jos.
In the video, he did not hold back. He called out several well-known figures, including nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana, social media personality Adams Kehinde, also known as Lege Miami, comedians Dee One and Seyi Law, as well as celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest.
His concern was clear. According to him, their silence in the face of a tragic event that claimed lives speaks volumes. He suggested that by choosing not to address the situation publicly, they have indirectly revealed where they stand.
JJ Exclusive went further to link their silence to political alignment, describing them as supporters of the APC and questioning their priorities at a time when many Nigerians are demanding empathy and accountability.
The video has since stirred mixed reactions. While some agree with his call for public figures to speak up during national crises, others argue that not every response must be made online.
