Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, who is linked to Nice until June 2027, has requested the termination of his contract via the legal commission of the professional football league.
His lawyers have validated this request, referencing articles 51 and 265 of the professional football charter, reported L’Equipe.
It is reported that Terem Moffi regrets that all necessary security measures were not taken to protect him against the attack he suffered at the hands of the Nice fans.
Legal discussions will focus on potential security failures on the night of November 30.
The possibility of contract termination is being examined, and the situation could also result in further negotiations, including a potential loan exit.
Terem Moffi was acquired for 25 million, excluding bonuses in 2022.
