The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has so far released the sum of three billion Naira (N3 billion) for the Super Eagles’ 2025 AFCON campaign in Morocco.
SCORENigeria reports that officials, however remain confident more money will be released to the team in time to cover mounting tournament expenses.
It was gathered that even though the NFF finally agreed to pay the team $30,000-a-man bonus for qualifying for the Round of 16 of the competition, they are yet to receive the payment.
The Super Eagles will earn additional bonus should they go past Mozambique Monday to march on to the quarterfinal of the tournament.
